Each of us has been blessed by our Lord, but thinking about our gratitude just isn’t enough. The healing of the Ten Lepers described in Luke 17.12-19 reveals that it is both offerings and praise that expresses our gratitude. When we want to thank God, we should come to Church with our Tithe and stay to offer Him praise and worship.

On Theologically Thinking, With Thanksgiving we are encouraged to be thankful, but until we acknowledge that all our blessings are from God and for His glory, we remain focused upon our own needs rather than the needs of others. The Parable of the Rich Fool in Luke 12.16-21 helps us identify the risk and danger of this greedy outlook in life. “What shall I do?” asks the rich fool? How will we thank God for our blessings this year at Thanksgiving? Will be build bigger barns or serve our neighbor?
