He talks with us about relations between the two Patriarchates and the upcoming Pan Orthodox Synod. Next, we turn our attention to the situation in Haiti as we hear from Mark Ohanian of IOCC. Mark is Senior Programs Coordinator based at IOCC’s headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland and has been involved with the coordination of efforts in Haiti since February. He'll tell us more about conditions on the ground right now, what's being done by IOCC to assist the people of Haiti and what each of us can do to help. Finally, Fr. Chris hears from Fr Barnabas Jerome Euginst, priest of St. John the Baptist parish in Pétionville, a district in the capital of Port-au-Prince, under His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras of Mexico. Fr Barnabas talks about his journey to Orthodoxy and how the recent earthquake has affected both his parish and his personal faith.
