My catechism into Orthodoxy was taught to me by "the" Fr. Barnabas. He has been a wonderful influence and was a great teacher. Now, as I serve in the Anglican Church in a CANA congregation, I am taking much of what I learned from him and from my own journey through Orthodoxy and exposing our congregation to many aspects of Orthodox practice and symbology. This has been readily and avidly accepted by our group of parishoners; many of which have fled the heresies of the Episcopal Church. It is my hope that the Orthodox Church and the Anglican groups which have chosen to cling to the faith once delivered through groups such as CANA, AMIA, the Southern Cone, and others; can carry on ecumenical dialogue and friendship as we lead others to Christ. Peace be unto you!

I'm Orthodox as of 2 years ago--now at an OCA church in Colorado Springs. I work with the Navigators, and have a Protestant worship/youth worker background. I was a history major, and so resonant with that part of your journey. I'm a singer/songwriter, still engaged actively in the Protestant (and to some extent Catholic) world. I am trying to create space to write music using the writings of the Church, but in the contemporary Christian musical arena--to expose others to the beauty of the writings of Orthodoxy. Blessings on your journey, and thanks for the "testimony"! - Jeff Morrison

Thanks, Barnabas. As good as the written text is, the podcast is even better -- lots of food for thought.

Like Barnabas, my Evangelicalism started to fall apart the minute I started reading the history of the church between the end of the Apostolic Age and the 16th Century. Great program. - gchancy
