The most difficult part in this metanoia—this change of mind—for me has proven not to be the intellectual consent to the practice of asking the intercessions of the saints. Not only does it make sense quite easily, but it is also an integral part of ancient Christianity—and not, as I had previously believed—some foolish leftover from the dark ages of the Pre-reformation era church.
