Journeys to Orthodoxy is a Orthodox Christian podcast series featuring converts to Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Each episode, host Jacob Lee interviews a new member of the Orthodox Christian Church and asks them how they became an Orthodox Christian.
Meet Clint and Debbie Hale - Clint Grew up in the Church of Christ and went on to become a Sniper in the US Army. Clint's Father was a Church of Christ minister and he grew up with a strong spirtual background. Clint after the army went on to missionary preaching school and then became a minister in a small church in the San Antionio Texas. After his time as a minster they became ministers to Estonia.
Some Highlights of the show are when Debbie talks about how she thought her husband was out of his mind for looking into the Orthodox Church and how reading Fr. Stephen Freemans Blog Glory to God for all Things opened her up to the faith.

This week on Journey’s Jacob interviews John Darnall the son of carrier missionaries with The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, an active lay leader in traditional Pentecostal fellowships, and former Youth With A Mission (YWAM) staff member at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii. John has worked in advertising serving many Christian organizations, including Billy Graham, international Christian publishing companies, and Charismatic denominations. Listen and discover how the willingness to follow God taught John by his parents, laid the foundations for his journey into Orthodoxy.
Glen Chancy is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Eastern European studies. He then taught in Poland for three years, bringing home a lovely Polish wife at the end of 1995. Back home, he reverted to the Pentecostalism of his youth, and took his Roman Catholic wife with him. His wife, Justyna, accepted this quietly for years. Eventually, she wanted out of Pentecostalism, and by then so did Glen. They visited a Roman Catholic Church for Mass, only to discover that it was unrecognizable for a traditional Catholic. During the service, Justyna kept demanding (in Polish), "Does the Pope know what these people are doing!" When female Eucharistic ministers helped dispense the Body of Christ, Justyna came very close to outright violence. This week on Journeys - Meet Dionysios Potamitis, a Greek who grew up in the Church but as a youth drifted slowly away. Dionysios moved to Demark and studied ancient languages and upon reading the Gospel of Mathew in 20 different languages was drawn back to the Church and reestablished the faith of his childhood. Dionysios has begun a ministry (Potamitis Publishing) that produces children's books to share the Orthodox Faith. Although Andrew's parents were atheists, they allowed him to make his own decisions. Andrew discovered Orthodoxy when searching for God as a teen. In the Australian public school system they taught religion classes and Orthodoxy was one of them. Andrew dived in and went to his first Orthodox service on the Gold Coast at St. Anne Greek Orthodox Church. This week on Journeys to Orthodoxy: Show host, Jacob Lee, interviews Shawn Wallace, an African-American jazz musician and Assistant Professor of Music at Ohio State University. Shawn grew up in a Charismatic Pentecostal home and attended a Word of Faith Church. When he was 20 years old, Shawn started a Bible study and street evangelism ministry and used his gift for music in church worship services.
After directing music at a number of churches, he became disillusioned with Protestantism. A friend shared several articles about Orthodoxy with him and once he was financially able to leave the church where he was leading music, he moved to Columbus, Ohio and was received into the Orthodox Church in December 2004.
