Harmony of Thunder
 This week on Harmony of Thunder: The Eucharistic passage of St. Paul's first epistle to the Corinthians (11:23-26) is the starting point for St. Cyril of Jerusalem's fifth sermon in his series called Mystagogical Catechesis, teachings given to new converts to the Christian faith in Jerusalem in the middle of the fourth century. St. Cyril wants his hearers - and us - to remember that the Eucharist is indeed the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. You don't want to miss this important message, which is so central to our faith.

 On Harmony of Thunder Orthodox: We start a three week series this week looking at one particular sermon, "An Encomium on the Dormition of our Most Holy Lady, Mary, Mother of God and Ever Virgin by our Father the Holy Modestus, Archbishop of Jerusalem." This Orthodox podcast series will help Orthodox Christians as we prepare for the Theotokos fast, and the feast of the Dormition. In the first program, we'll explore the ways in which a sermon can address the Dormition of the Theotokos using the whole text of scripture.
