On Theologically Thinking, Fr. Athanasios Haros of Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church, Florence S.C. shares his sermon, "When We Thank God." Each of us has been blessed by our Lord, but thinking about our gratitude just isn’t enough. The healing of the Ten Lepers described in Luke 17.12-19 reveals that it is both offerings and praise that expresses our gratitude. When we want to thank God, we should come to Church with our Tithe and stay to offer Him praise and worship. This week on Harmony of Thunder: St. Gregory Palamas paints a picture of Zacchaeus (St. Luke 19:1-10) as a man who wanted both sin and salvation, the old law and the new testament, riches and poverty. Listen to this week's Harmony of Thunder as Fr. David Smith explores St. Gregory Palamas' remarkable sermon and reveals the valuable lessons this outstanding preacher made for his original hearers and for us today."

Have you celebrated Share the Light Sunday?
There are many Orthodox Christian faithful who still don't know about the Orthodox Christian Network. The time has come for that to change. Please tell the faithful of your parish about the work and ministry of The Orthodox Christian Network by celebrating Share the Light Sunday in your parish. As our church uses the tool of media more effectively, we can reach more and more people with the Good News of Orthodox Christianity. OCN is also donor supported and is not underwritten by any Metropolis, Archdiocese or individual. Any contribution that your parish is able make to support the work and mission of OCN is also greatly appreciated. Please visit
www.myocn.net/stl for more information about how your parish can get involved. When all of our parishes Share the Light our Church can reach more and more souls thirsting for the truth!
Thank you for your generosity and cheerful giving.

THE SOUNDING SOUND OFF
On February 1,
The Sounding will come back to life with a burst of new posts from a large group of new writers recruited by Melinda Johnson, who was appointed blog chief in December 2011. New and returning contributors bring an impressive range of experience and perspective to
The Sounding, allowing us to explore many new areas of Orthodox life and thought. It is our hope that
The Sounding will become a center of conversation and community, and we strongly encourage you to come to the site on February 1 to meet our writers and respond to what they've written.
