THIS WEEK FROM THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN NETWORK

COME RECEIVE THE LIGHT - THE NATIONALLY SYNDICATED RADIO PROGRAM OF ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY
Many of us know the parable of the Prodigal Son, but today we’ll hear from a prodigal daughter! Award-winning author Myrna Kostash recounts her journey back to the church of her childhood. Plus, as we prepare ourselves for Holy Friday’s services commemorating Christ’s death and entombment, we’ll ask Fr. Timothy Chrapko what our Lord did during the time between His death and resurrection.

OCN PODCASTS
On Harmony of Thunder, Fr. David Smith  discusses the celebration of Pascha and the Sermon of St. John Chryssostom. On Worship in Spirit and Truth, join Dr. Demetrios Katos will have a message entitled "Christ is Risen." How well do you understand the worship of the Orthodox Church? As Orthodox Christians, we go to liturgical services throughout our lives, often only dimly aware of the power and meaning of what is happening around us. In this podcast episode, Dr. Katos explains the services celebrating the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On Theologically Thinking, Fr. Spiro Bobotas and Fr. Barnabas Powell speak on A converts First Pascha and the Theology of the Paschal Hymns.
