My favourite saint
written by paul-harvey du bois, February 07, 2011
Saint Xenia of Saint Petersburg is probably a quite "relevant" saint for our times. Especially with all the young marriages on the rocks! I speak from experience: My daughter and her husband are having quite a few difficulties at the moment. And their professional environment - they are both in show business, he is an actor, she a singer - is not particularly conducive to a happy marriage. If I could, I would make a pilgrimage to Saint Xenia's tomb in Saint Petersburg on their behalf. Hopefully, and with Saint Xenia's help, they will be able to work things out, if only for the sake of their child who is only two years old but already seems to know what's going on. Saint Xenia help us in these narcissistic times! - Paul-Harvey Du Bois
