Timothy Chrapko, the associate pastor at St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Alberta, Canada, who’s here to talk about the marriage ceremony of the Orthodox church. Plus, we’ll hear from Paul Lundberg, the new Assistant Director of the Office of Vocation and Ministry, who’ll tell us about their new podcast, which will be launching on the OCN website on September 20. Also this week the Agencies of the Episcopal Assembly in America will launch a monthly new podcast featuring how each agency is Touching the World with Christ’s love. Share the Light Partners
Many are called, but few are chosen (*Matthew 22:14). The Orthodox Christian Network Share the Light Partners have answered to Christ’s call to spread the gospel and give abundantly.  As the chosen ones, our partners provide the financial backbone to our outreach media ministry.  Each Share the Light Partner donates at least $1,000 per year. It is our goal to attain 75 partners by Thanksgiving and 100 by the end of the year. Please answer the call and step forward to join the 46 who have already made a commitment.

New Adult Catechism Class Offered in September
OCN and St. Demetrios Church will be presenting another Adult Catechism Class starting on September 12, 2010 at 10am each Sunday through the month of December via web cast. Listeners and viewers will also be able to download the study guide for each class from the myocn.net site.  The class is based on the book, A Catechetical Handbook of the Eastern Orthodox Church by D. H. Stamtis, PhD.
