We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Frank Papatheofanis, president of St. Katherine College, to the show today. He’s here to tell us about this new college, which is currently accepting applications for the fall of 2011. But first we’ll check back in with Kenneth Kidd, the Annual Gifts Officer at the Orthodox Christian Mission Center.

Speaker: Dr. Nicolai Petro
Topic: Moscow Patriarchate’s fight against secularism
Joining us today is Fr. Mark Leondis, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. He’s here to talk with us about a topic that’s been getting an increasing amount of attention from the media - bullying. Also with us is Professor Nicolai N. Petro is back on the program today to talk about the Moscow Patriarchate, which has been very active recently in combating secularism. Prof. Petro is a member of the University of Rhode Island’s Department  of Political Science, and also served as the U.S. State Department's special assistant for policy on the Soviet Union under George H.W. Bush.

Topic: Marriage in the Orthodox Church
Summer is the season for weddings, and with us today friend-of-the-show Fr. Timothy Chrapko, the associate pastor at St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Alberta, Canada, who’s here to talk about the marriage ceremony of the Orthodox church. Plus, we’ll hear from Paul Lundberg, the new Assistant Director of the Office of Vocation and Ministry, who’ll tell us about their new podcast, which will be launching on the OCN website on September 20th.
