Lauderdale, Fl-- The Orthodox Christian Network (OCN) is pleased to announce that Icon New Media located in Southern California has decided to fully join itself with OCN thus coming under the umbrella of a SCOBA agency to produce more and reach more faithful and seekers in the United States and around the world with quality in depth on demand programming.  OCN's Executive Director, Fr. Christopher Metropulos stated, "We are very excited to welcome a true professional and faithful Orthodox Christian of the Antiochian Archdiocese who began a media ministry of his own several years ago as a full partner.  The combination of the two media ministry's will literally double the listeners and visitors to our web sites from cities throughout the world.  The combined effort will also enhance our 24/7 Internet presence which offering faithful and seekers the best in programming.

OCN as an agency of SCOBA has sought and has become a center for those who are creating quality media products to showcase their work.  Jacob Lee the founder of Icon New Media stated, " I am thrilled to be joining the efforts begun years ago by Fr. Christopher which have the blessing of SCOBA (The Standing Conference of Orthodox Christian Bishops in America) because I believe strongly in the words of our Lord, when two or three are gathered in my Name I am present.  Together we plan with our increased staff and volunteers around the world to bring forward the best Orthodoxy has to offer".

With this new and exciting step Fr. Christopher also announced the opening of an additional OCN office in Irvine, Ca. at the parish of St. Paul where Jacob and his coworkers will enhance the efforts.  Fr.
