On this weeks Journey, Fr. Justin Mathews, a former Christian Rocker, tells the tale of how he found the Holy Orthodox Church. He discovered Orthodoxy at an Orthodox Coffee shop in Nashville, TN and is now the Associate Pastor in charge of youth and college ministry at St. Anne Orthodox Christian Church in Oakridge, TN. His recent solo release has been described as "one of the best solo albums produced by an Orthodox Christian in our time."

What a great program. I too have traveled a long journey back to the faith of my birth. As a lover of music it was the Christian Music of the 80's and 90's that helped deepen my faith to the point I too wanted more. Bless you on your journey and I hope to come to Nashville one day, and visit the cafe you went to. That has been a dream of mine to have a cafe or place where we can come out of our church and minister to the poor in spirit as well as in body. Blessing to you all.
Thanks AGAIN!

I love your program also. I live in Franklin, TN attending St. Ignatius church, where Fr. Justin Mathews wound up after encountering orthodoxy at Alektor Cafe in Nashville. Hearing Fr. Justin describing how we sing in our church, brought tears to my eyes, because INDEED we found the fulness of the church, and continue singing our hearts out to God, in Thanksgiving.

Thanks this is very good to hear other people talk about their religion. I'm from Akutan and we don't have a priest in the village. Your outreach is getting out here. Thanks again, Lydia
Inspiring.

Thank you for posting this. I to am on a journey that seems headed to the Orthodox Church. I'm an evangelical pastor, so hearing the journeys of like minded protestants is always encouraging to me.
